DNI GROUP was founded in San Francisco in 1995 as
a seafood sales and marketing firm specializing in Japanese
foods. After cooperating on several successful ventures,
DNI Group and Inabata America Corporation created a new
enterprise. In 2003, a joint venture between Inabata America
Corporation and DNI Group formed the company DNI Group,
LLC. DNI Group, LLC leverages the sales and marketing strength
of DNI Group with the global resources of Inabata America
Corporation.
The combination of these two companies draws together
over 100 years in business, 10 years in the United States,
and over 12 overseas offices. Inabata America and it's parent
company Inabata and Company, Ltd. provide extensive international
trading experience and a global network of offices engaged
in seafood production and raw material procurement. In addition,
Inabata America Corporation provides the financial support
and stability for continued expansion of DNI Group, LLC.
In early 2003 DNI Group, LLC acquired the PASSPORT®
brand of Japanese inspired appetizers. Passport® is
the brand of Asian appetizers made with the integrity of
traditional recipes and containing no artificial ingredients.
The main offerings are a variety of Gyoza, Shumai, and Spring
Rolls.
DNI began in the seafood business and continues to
be an innovator in value added Japanese seafood products.
Shrimp and Crab form the core of our product line under
the brand CRANE BAY®.
English, Japanese, Mandarin, and Korean are spoken at DNI Group,
LLC to meet the needs of our customers.
Our mission is to create AUTHENTIC, EASY TO PREPARE,
and HIGH QUALITY Asian products for the foodservice industry.
